Eric Leif Davin is an author, a freelance media producer, and a journalist with a variety of related professional experiences. He has won a number of awards for magazine writing. He has recently begun writing science fiction. He is an experienced professional interviewer who has taped interviews with a number of science fiction personalities. He also has a special interest in the pioneers of modern Science Fiction, and that has resulted in the extremely interesting and historically valuable interviews with David Lasser and Charles Hornig. These are important additions to the SFOHA Archives, and we look forward to seeing the further development of Eric Leif Davin's Oral History Series.

Both Sides. Interview with David Lasser by Eric Leif Davin on April 6, 1986.  Lasser is the oldest living Science Fiction editor.  He was the Managing Editor of Hugo Gernsback's Stellar Publishing Corporation from 1929-1933, editing all issues of Science Wonder Stories and Wonder Stories Quarterly during that period. He also edited the first 39 issues of Gernsback's Wonder Stories from June, 1930, to October, 1933. Lasser was 84 years old at the time of the interview. He provides invaluable material on the beginnings of magazine Science Fiction. Davin has kindly provided the SFOHA Archives with a transcript of the interview and also with a copy of an article based on the interview. The transcript contains additional material from correspondence that took place after the interview was concluded.
