Series MISC was created as an open series for tapes donated from a variety of sources that reach the organization one or two or three at a time. In addition, there is an occasional opportunity to record an interview or a single event. Such tapes can be assigned to Series Misc as they arrive.

Side A.  Ray Bradbury, interviewed by Ed Burrows, of radio station WUOM, an interview arranged by SFOHA.  The interview took place at Bowling Green, Ohio, on the campus of Bowling Green State University, on April 18, 1982.  It was aired on WUOM twice on April 30, 1982, on the program, "The Eleventh Hour."  The recording was supplied by WUOM and is a copy of the tape made in Bowling Green.  NOTE:  The master tape is 90 minutes;  duplicates can be made on a 60 minute tape because the interview takes only 28:43.

     Side B.  Blank.

Side A.  Wilson "Bob" Tucker, interviewed on radio station WIFE, Indianapolis, with two Indianapolis science fiction fans.  Broadcast and recorded from the air on 3/14/81.  Donated to SFOHA by  Mick Hamblen.

     Side B.  Blank.

Both Sides.  Science Fiction artist Frank Kelly Freas, interviewed for SFOHA by Lloyd Biggle, Jr., at Inconjunction, Indianapolis, 7/3/82.  Freas talks about getting started as an SF artist, editors, artists' problems, specific works--including the cover he did for the interviewer's book, The Light that Never Was.  Incidental commentary by Sandra Miesel.  NOTE:  Side B material begins 1 minute 5 seconds into the tape.  This is a "flip" continuation--where the material stops on Side A, the tape was flipped and the interview continued.

Both Sides.  Mike Resnick, interviewed by Lloyd Biggle, Jr for SFOHA.  ConFusion 101, the Plymouth Hilton, Plymouth, Michigan, January 29, 1983.   Note:  table tapping unfortunately recorded very well.
